Try to be a rainbow in someone’s cloud.
— Maya Angelou
Christy believes in the power of a great team. She also believes that the aim of any type of work is to work smarter, not harder. The belief that these statements are not mutually exclusive was not lost on Max Fritz, co-founder of Dark Horse, who has made mention of teamwork making the dream work and working smarter, not harder...this, among many other aspects, is how she knows that she has found her people at Dark Horse.
Christy obtained a double major at Muskingum University in both Accounting and Business Management. She’s been in the workforce for many years, handling a variety of roles from administration to project management prior to transitioning into public accounting and putting the aforementioned accounting major to good use. She fashions herself highly process-oriented and loves learning all things accounting.
Outside of her professional endeavors, she enjoys decorating, gardening, and spending time with family. As an empty nester, she and her husband of 29 years relish the time they get to spend with their two kids, two grandchildren, and their three grand-pups. In this new phase of her life, she looks forward to traveling more often and enjoying this new chapter.
